We are here to support local creatives and independent makers with both services, materials and a space to show work AND we love it when a new local creative comes to share their project with us! Welcome to Beam Works Bubble Boy and the Garden Adventure!

Created by writer Mike Follows and illustrator James Armstrong this is the story of a tiny family who float around in delicate soap bubbles - young children will love the adventures in this wonderfully heart warming tale! 🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧

Good Morning! We are delighted to welcome the very talented Jill Setterington to Beam Works! Jill creates the most beautiful hand-crafted sketchbooks choosing high quality papers and gorgeous prints.

As artists we just LOVE these sketchbooks - they feel sooo special! Our sketchbooks are sacred places, filled with our thoughts, our ideas - the story of our lives in words and pictures - they should be treasured and Jill's creations are just perfect for that!

When Jill isn't making books you can find her at Left Bank Leeds hosting book-binding workshops so do check out their listings for her next session!

With recycling and repurposing at the heart of everything Ed does, he creates some truly wonderful artwork. From chimera creatures and graphic text, you can find an amalgamation of materials and visuals in his work.

Aside from that, Ed also runs which has some of its final sessions this month before a break so if you fancy grabbing a cuppa or a pint while chatting over some art, check out the upcoming dates! It’s a wonderful group 😌💞

Check out these gorgeous designs by the wonderful 😍

Poppy’s unique illustrations are built from layers of individual paintings. They’re vibrant, eye-catching, and we love everything about them.

We’re lucky enough to see Poppy’s new pieces regularly when she brings them in to get scanned! She was kind enough to let us share her latest work here, so head over to her profile to see many more of her gorgeous designs 😌

If you need artwork digitising, you can get any piece up to A1 scanned at Beam Works. We scan at 300dpi as standard but have a 600dpi option available too. With a flatbed scanner, we can accommodate paper, canvas, board, or any surface 6cm deep 🥳
