🎄 Please don’t come for me… I know it’s only August! 😂

But us crafters know that if you want to make something lovely for Christmas, you really do have to start a little bit earlier than everyone else!

I’ve just finished making up this gorgeous Santa Suit Quilt sample from one of the kits we have in the shop, and honestly, it was such a lovely project to make. ❤️🧵

The idea behind the quilt is that all the different pieces have come from Santa’s suit — there’s even a gorgeous little red velvety section in there — and the finished quilt is just so much fun.

It’s also a really achievable project. You absolutely don’t need to be an expert quilter to make it; it comes together surprisingly quickly and would be a lovely project even if you haven’t made many quilts before.

The kits are £60 each, and although that might initially sound like quite a considered purchase, the kit contains everything you need to make the quilt apart from your sewing thread. The pattern is included too, and the quilt also features in the accompanying book.

You end up with a beautiful handmade Christmas quilt that could come out year after year, or it would make such a special gift for a little one. 🎅❤️

And no… I’m not putting the Christmas tree up yet. Promise. 😂🎄

Important shop notice 28th July.
We are open as normal today, very sorry that I am only just getting the chance to post this now, it has been a pretty busy morning.
I just want to say thank you for everyone's messages of concern yesterday, I have been experiencing some pretty weird and unpleasant sensations that had me a bit worried and I wanted them checked out.
Whilst I am still not feeling great due to my blood pressure being higher than my normal, I have been reassured that I am in no immediate danger and I just really need to look after myself better.
Still feeling very Woolly headed so please just bear with me.
Many thanks for your continued support,
Much love J&B

I have left it a few days as I have been quite tired and a bit achey after completing the Kilt walk on Sunday. It took myself, Sarah Louise Gillies and Lorraine Robinson just under 8 hours to complete the 22.3 mile route. This was around 7.5 hours of actual walking and a few short pitstops along the way to replenish water and loo breaks.
I just want to recognise and say a huge, massive, grateful and very sincere 🙏 Thank you to each and every person who supported me and donated to the Pink Ladies of Argyll fundraiser. I I believe I have managed to individually thank nearly all of my donors but there were a few anonymous peeps that I couldn't reach out to, I hope you see this message 😊❤️🙏.
The combined total raised is a massive £4,101.50, of which you very lovely peeps helped me raise £695 of that.
The fundraiser page will remain open for a few more days if anyone has missed out so far and still wishes to donate, it really is for a great cause.
My overall assessment of the day is that it was really challenging physically on the old feet and legs but was super fun and felt like a very wholesome thing to be involved in, anyone thinking about doing it next year, definitely should, although we had the perfect weather for it which im sure made it slightly less challenging for us than had it been any hotter or worse constant rain.
Anyhoo , thank you , thank , thank you!!! 😊 🙏❤️###
