My new painting of a peaceful Loch Eck.

Being in the studio this week has been the perfect distraction with the kids back in school and nursery. We've had a brilliant summer but it feels nice to get back to painting.

I've got a busy few weeks to get myself ready for the Cowal Open Studios 'Spirit of Cowal' exhibition at the Dunoon Burgh Hall. Opening on 5th Sept until 10th Oct, it's the perfect place to help you plan your route for the main art trail weekend on 25th to 28th Sept.

This painting will be one of three that you'll be able to see at the exhibition. I've got lots of new work planned and I'm really excited to share them with you.

Product photography is always a challenge for me but especially during the summer hols and the chaos of toys all over the place. So standing on my sofa to use the plants on top of my bookcase as a backdrop seemed like the best option. Very much an Instagram vs reality type of situation 😅 Only there's no chance I'm sharing the reality part!

Really happy with the new cards I received last week. There's five new designs:

These were very popular at Bute Yard. So I'll have plenty with me for Wild Ivy this weekend. I'm so looking forward to a busy weekend. You'll catch me at Gamble Halls in Gourock on Sat 8th and Kelburn Estate on Sun 9th, both 11am to 4pm.

Yesterday I had the most wonderful day at buteyard. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped for a chat , bought from me and to the amazing Ricky and his team.

My new Bute prints were so popular. It makes me so happy that people want my artwork in their homes 🥰 It's really is so appreciated! Thank you!

This coming weekend is a busy one. I'm at Gamble Hall in Gourock on Sat and on Sun at Kelburn Estate. Both 11 to 4 and run by the fab Wild Ivy.

On Tues 11th to Sat 15th, Natalie Sedgwick and Susan Turmeau are having a Pop-up shop in the wee shop next to Dunoon Bunkhouse, Argyll St. They've asked Linocut Lassie and I to join their beautiful jewellery and fill the walls with our work.

I'm so excited to be teaming up with these talented artists! Natalie is also running a 3 hour jewellery workshop so be sure to send her an email if you'd like to take part.

The summer holidays are in full swing so it's a bit quiet over here. Fitting in lots of fun with the kids and I managed to finish off a special commission 😀 Today I took delivery of some new prints which made me happy. They look so calm and cooling which is just what I need in this heat, wish I could just dive on in!

I'm waiting on a delivery of frames and mounts so these will be signed and ready for a new home next week. They'll be available either framed or unframed in a mount 🥰

I'm so chuffed to have been asked to take part in Natalie and Soozie's pop-up at the wee shop next to Dunoon Bunkhouse on 11th to 15th August.

As well as their beautiful jewellery, you'll find Karen Komurcu's beautiful lino work. It’s sure to be a fab event so be sure to pop in to support your local artists 🥰

Thank you to everyone who visited us at our Summer Pop-up last Sat. We never got many photos but here's a smily me from the day 😃

It was the best day chatting to lots of lovely people. And it was our most successful one yet. So thank you. It's really is so appreciated!

Here's a few of my original watercolours that sold ❤️Our next pop-up will be our main event: Cowal Open Studios on Fri 25th to Mon 28th Sept. Please mark your diary as it's going to be an amazing one. With lots of new paintings of our local scenery to fill the walls of the studio!
