I was recently asked to create a Steam Train themed card for a special birthday!

I was left to ‘let my creative juices flow’ so made two cards so that they had a choice!

I love being tasked with a specific theme - it makes me think outside my ‘norm’!!

Just thought I’d share two birthday cards created using the stamp set I challenged myself to use for all my friends and family cards this year!

(Stamps are from a free gift with ‘Creative Stamping Magazine’ Issue 156).

Another ‘throwback’ post…

As per my previous post, these cards were all made for the same person!

Somehow it always seems easier picking designs or themes for the girls! (Raising the challenge to dig a little deeper when creating cards for the boys perhaps!! 😉)

Still love looking back at past makes - whoever they’re for! Reminds me of past crafting phases, as well as helping to avoid unwittingly replicating past creations! 😉

Without anything new to share, I thought I’d do a ‘throwback’ kinda post!

These cards were all made for the same person! It’s good looking back to see what I’ve created with someone specific in mind in different years!

It’s all too easy to get stuck in a theme (no prizes for guessing this person is a classic car buff!), so it’s useful to keep a record of what you’ve sent before!

Things have been very quiet at Mixarray these past few months.

Sadly my mom passed away just before Christmas, and I haven’t stepped foot in the Shack since just before then.

I’ll get back into it soon enough I’m sure - just taking some time….

Just one day to go!! 🗓️

Brave the - inevitable - rain tomorrow Saturday 6th December and join us for Christmas in Warwick!! 🌲

There’ll be lots going on in and around the Market Place - Horsedrawn carriage rides, meet Santa 🎅🏽, visit the Grinch, take part in the various activities,….

We’ll be in The Courthouse on Jury Road along with a host of handmade/ crafty stalls all offering an array of wonderful and unique gift ideas!! 🎁

So come along, say ‘hello!’ - we’re here 10am to 4pm!

And don’t forget - it’s free parking in all WDC car parks for the event!!

There’ll be lots going on in and around the Market Square so come along - visit Santa, meet The Grinch, take a horse-drawn carriage ride,… & support small local businesses!

We’ll be in The Courthouse along with an array of handmade gifts and craft stalls, so pop by and say ‘hello!’
