Ever wanted to try Dungeons & Dragons but had no idea where to start?

Join Dungeon Master Joe for a brand-new adult beginners group at Books & Brews!

📅 Sunday 28th June
⏰ 3pm–5pm
💷 £3 per person
👥 Limited spaces available

Our first session will focus on character creation, world-building, and learning the basics of the game, so no experience is needed.

Going forward, the group is hoping to meet fortnightly.

Unfortunately, due to ill health, Tracy Rees is no longer able to join us for her event at Books & Brews.

We're sorry to have to cancel the event, but we're sure you'll join us in wishing Tracy a speedy recovery.

We're hopeful that we can arrange a new date in the future and will share any updates if that becomes possible.

Unfortunately, this month’s Brewing Up Poetry will not be going ahead.

Our wonderful host, Emma, has suffered an unexpected injury, and while we're all disappointed not to be gathering this month, Emma’s health and recovery come first.

We’re sending lots of positive thoughts her way and wishing her a smooth and speedy recovery. ❤️

If you have already paid for a place, please pop into the shop and we’ll arrange your refund.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures out there. 📚💙

A special shout-out to my own wonderful dad, who has supported this bookshop dream from the very beginning. In fact, without him, we quite literally wouldn't have one of the biggest bookcases in the shop!

From helping turn ideas into reality to patiently listening to every new scheme and plan I come up with, he's been there every step of the way.

So today, I'm raising a cup of tea to all the dads who build things, fix things, carry things, and occasionally pretend not to notice when we've bought "just a few more books."
