Had an amazing time at the Cleveleys Vintage Car Show on Sunday. 🚗✨

It brought back memories of my very first car, Barbara, a red VW Polo Fox that I bought for the grand sum of £300! I was so proud of it. Then I went away for a week and my dad (God rest his soul) decided to "upgrade" me to a Peugeot. I was absolutely devastated, but had to act grateful because he genuinely thought he'd done me a favour! 😄

Dad's first car was a Sunbeam Rapier, and seeing all these beautiful classics on Sunday really got me thinking about the cars that hold special memories. Also Frieda the motorhome is over 30 years old 🧡

✨ A fresh look for Hen’s Teeth! ✨

I’m excited to share the new logo for Hen’s Teeth. 🐔

The name comes from the saying “as rare as hen’s teeth” and that’s exactly what Hen’s Teeth is all about: uncovering unique vintage finds, retro treasures, characterful homeware, and one-of-a-kind pieces with stories to tell.

You’ll find me at markets and pop-up events, bringing together a carefully curated collection of vintage homeware, apparel, and curious finds. I also offer a personal sourcing service, helping customers track down those special pieces that seem impossible to find.

A huge thank you to Ashbury Levi for creating this beautiful logo. I love how it captures the colourful, eclectic spirit of Hen’s Teeth and the joy of discovering something truly rare.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far. I’m looking forward to sharing more finds, more markets, and more treasures with you all.

“Rare as hen’s teeth” is an old saying, and I’ve always loved it. It perfectly sums up what I’m looking for: the unusual pieces, the forgotten gems and the things you don’t come across every day.

I did briefly consider calling the business Rocking Horse Sh*t instead. Another excellent old saying for something rare.

Thankfully, common sense had a rare appearance of its own.

So Hens Teeth it is.

And with that in mind, keep your eyes peeled… a new logo and fresh branding will be making their debut very soon. 🪭

Already met some amazing people today, all brought together by a shared love for timeless style and stories from another era. These hats are more than accessories. They’re little pieces of history, carrying character, craftsmanship, and echoes of the people who wore them before us.

There’s something special about giving the past a second life. ✨
