So the time has nearly arrived when I will be shooting off on my travels.

Leaving Hastings pier on Wednesday and heading eastwards and driving around 3000 + miles in total.

Tabatha will be house sitting and trying to keep the plants alive 😆.

Sam will be going on a starvation diet until I get back 😆

Eating my way around the coast visiting most of the piers and funicular railways that are still in use.

It should take between 6 and 8 weeks.

The summer season is gradually slowing down, apart from the next bank holiday, which is just around the corner.
Then we get our Old Town back again! 😆 And for me, that’s actually amazing, as I no longer have a business that relies on tourists.
It’s lovely seeing the Old Town buzzing during the summer, but there’s something special about getting back to normal and having our town back for the locals. ❤️

So today we’ve seen a little rain… and I mean a LITTLE rain! 🌧️😂
Just got an alert ⚠️ for a sewage discharge.
Surely the discharge of sewage should be an absolute last resort, when the system has dangerously backed up?
So, after the tiny amount of rain we’ve had today, what on earth are these cretins doing? 🤦‍♂️
Anyone fancy explaining this one? 🤔

Nothing like the sound of a Rolls- Royce Merlin engine.

Thank you Eastbourne airshow we had a blast today and Thursday.

Off for breakfast tomorrow and then a tractor festival 😆.
