Sometimes I need to give myself the time to create and play!

Particularly when I am deep in the design process for the next seasons collections!

This years design process has been filled with new techniques being driven by sustainability and the use of recycled materials.

It’s a bit galaxy, a bit abstract and as always adds a little colour!

Last night I had a “mate date” with one of my oldest friends, we haven’t spent time together in ages, I turned up with wine and a little parcel of earrings :)

We talk a lot about treating our partners or doing thoughtful things for our family, but what about our friends?

After a bespoke student workshop, Superhero-Steph and her gorgeous Mum put together this stunning order, and I’m in love!

Steph is a busy teacher in a Yorkshire-based SEN school 👑 and recently supported a group of her students to a bespoke jewellery-making workshop with me!

The students were so talented - they created multiple pieces to take home with them, and I was so inspired by their creative ideas! 🤯

I’m so grateful for the teachers' orders on top of that!

Some days call for bold stripes (I hear Steph wore these to elevate her athletic wear in school today!) Some days call for florals. Some days just need a simple necklace and a pair of comfy studs.

That's one of my favourite things about handmade jewellery – you get to build a collection that's completely you.

There are so many of you who are repeat customers, and every time you come back, I still do the little happy dance I did when starting 5 years ago! 💃

My friend Gemma wears almost exclusively black 🖤

So many people have tried to get her into colourful clothes, but the bottom line is, she feels uncomfortable. And that’s totally okay.

I make jewellery with a goal in mind… to make sure the wearer feels put together, even when they’re pulling on a plain t-shirt and jeans. I want to add that bit of umph.

I know the majority of my collections aren’t her cup of tea. The brightness, floral patterns and sometimes size are just too much for her.

Well, not anymore… thanks to my Dalmatian Collection!

She’s now joined the Make & Me tribe! She’s told me that she feels fun, stands out and is getting noticed. This collection is bold enough to get compliments, simple enough to work every day and matches 99% of her wardrobe.

I’ve realised over the years that how I make your jewellery matters, and I wanted to introduce a new material to reflect that.

Did you know that I have a collection of reclaimed leather pieces?

They’re on my website, waiting to give materials a second life instead of letting them become waste.

My polymer clay studio is virtually zero waste too. Every tiny scrap is saved, blended, mixed and transformed into new colours and future designs.

I also reuse and recycle packaging materials wherever possible, and all of my packaging can be recycled when it reaches you.

Small choices might not change the world overnight, but they do matter.

So when you buy from me, you're supporting a way of creating that's thoughtful, intentional and a little kinder to the planet too ♻️💚
