The next Shakespeare play to be aired from The Globe Theatre starts tonight! Don't miss it. A Midsummer Night's Dream is a brilliant and very funny play. CJ and The Team will be getting our pot of cockles and prawns, hunk of bread and cheese and some apples and then wash it all down with some hearty ale! We all watched this production of The Merry Wives of Windsor last night and laughed so much. It has a slow start but hang in there as when the story really takes off it is hilarious! This production has set the play in the 1930s and the actors portray the characters so well. Forget the boring production you may have seem in the past at other theatres. We have never seen a bad production at the Globe! It is streaming on YouTube until 14th June (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBlQ3z3GRjs) so make sure you don't miss it. Don't forget to donate something in our crowd funder in the post below to help the Globe Theatre survive. It is well worth it! Thank you. CJ

GLOBE THEATRE, LONDON IN CRISIS.
PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM!
In these difficult times, let us not forget things that enrich our lives. Theatres are one of those things and one of the most iconic theatres is Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London.
If you have ever been to the Globe you will know how special a place it is. If you haven't, you're hopefully in for a treat when it opens again. But will it open? The Globe is a registered charity but gets no funding from the Arts Council for England even though it is on the tourist trail for London.
