Happy Friday!
For this weeks Friday Favourite I’m sharing this cute framed beach heart.
It’s a favourite in Handmade Gift Shop and Workshops and is my best seller so far this month. So thought I’d show it some love on here too.
The perfect little gift to give to someone who loves the beach, like me ☺️
The heart is handmade in the colours of the beach, did you know that 10 different colours of glass go into making it!
It’s presented in a simple white box frame, total size 3inch square. And it can freestand or hang
What are your plans for the weekend, anyone going to the beach? We’ll be trying out the new bbq

Who likes sheep? This is the second time I’ve been commissioned to make a sheep!
They are quite fun to do, the white crushed glass works really well as its woolly coat.
This one is a 10cm diameter suncatcher with gift box. Previously I made a coaster

Next week I’m working on a version of my garden garden is hot colours as a special order.

Well we’ve made it to Friday everyone!
We might have been blown away and washed away, but I’m hoping the BBQ summer is rebooted tomorrow ☀️🤞
I caught this amazing rainbow 🌈 on Wednesday evening, stunning. Of course I’ll use that as an excuse to show you some of my rainbow designs 😉After all it is pride month 🏳️‍🌈
Just my opinion, but fused glass and rainbows are a marriage made in heaven! A perfect use of the vibrant coloured glass that I love.
I’m also signalling this is your last opportunity to order a rainbow love garden trellis. As the trellis are getting very difficult to get hold of. So last call is Monday.

Let’s talk about glass paint and why glass fused with enamels is different to paint and why it won’t scratch off, peel or fade
You’ll often hear me say that, but why is it different?
Well it because I use enamels that I fire into the glass as temperatures of 750 to 800C. If you look closely it often looks more like it has dyed the glass.
Definitely no home use glass paints that will fade in the sun or vinyl printing that will crack or peel off!
The beauty of everlasting glass!

Happy Sunday, how is your weekend going? Not too wet and windy I hope 🤞

Had a lovely visit to our local Wildflower Farm at the weekend, the fields look glorious at this time of year.
It’s what I had in mind when I designed my summer meadow tea light and picture
And the bees seem to love it.
If you’re in the area I very much recommend a visit, they do amazing breakfasts and lovely cake and they are fab at catering for gf and vegan. And as extra entertainment you can watch the skydivers land next door. What more do you need on a Sunday afternoon?
