So with these small tides our very own Dan Cressey headed out to the Humber in search of a few cod.

Even tho it’s May we know that cod are always there if you fish for them.

Dan has managed 4 cod today with a skate as well. The biggest cod was just under 4lb.

Well done Dan, a fantastic 4hr session.

It’s been an enjoyable day today, albeit a bit blustery and a bit of a sea running as it seems is usual for this venue!

I forgot to take a picture of my card but I ended up on 9 fish for 201 pts. I managed a dog, a bass, an eel, a whiting and 5 pouting. Started slow, had a good middle section and was doing ok in my zone but lost the fish in the last 1.5hr. Mike did ok at Salthouse with 9 fish for 133pts.

It was a bit patchy and those who had bonus fish like dogs and bass boosted their scores.

A great day out and the sun even made an appearance. Steady drive home now after we got Docker Drayton his Costa fix! Roll on the westlands match next week.

Thanks to John Spalton for putting on the match, it take some doing organising matches and we all appreciate the effort. 👍

Peg 36 - B-Zone (End Peg) Kelling

See what happens. I have got an end peg but not sure if it’s going to be a good peg yet 😂.

Mike Treharne is at Salthouse with Stuart Drayton and Docker Drayton is peg 30 near me.

Sea is a bit rough 🌊 but it’s the same for everyone.

Bait is looking good, I’ve got Rag, Crab, fresh wraps, old wraps, lug worm, fish and Sandeel today so plenty of options.

Match starts at 11am so best of luck everyone!
