☀️ RECENT COMMISSION ☀️

I wrote a big post about this epic commission last week and I've just noticed that none of the text is there so we go again! 🥴

I was delighted when the team at PASMA in Glasgow got in touch with a commission idea earlier this year. They wanted to go ahead with an illustration of the full street that their office is located on; Newton Terrace at Charing Cross.

Twenty eight town houses later, here we have it. ! I dropped the 1.4m print off to their offices last week along with a separate framed print of their specific building.

It was a great one to draw! I've included a video of the drawing coming out the printer so you can see just how long it was 🤩.

🤩 COMMISSIONS COMMISSIONS COMMISSIONS 🤩

I've had loads of lovely commissioned house, pub, office and wedding venue portraits heading out the door recently! My commissions diary is open and we're booking July onwards so if you're thinking of a special illustration don't hesitate to get in touch, either by DM or via the website. Recent commission of the David Stowe Building in Jordanhill, Glasgow, as requested by Lyndsey as a wedding present.

The building, which housed Strathclyde Uni's Teacher Training College for 80 years, appears in the background. Two youngsters, recipients of the gift, appear kicking a ball about in the foreground. This memory of a happy time intentionally echoes a similar painting that Lyndsey's father created in the 70's (swipe to see) .

Helen commissioned this illustration of a fantastic house near Loch Lomond as a gift for a relative. The reference photos were a mix of last summer and this spring so it took a little working out to get the beautiful garden looking the part and in full bloom.

I'm told the gift was a great success!
