Post from Mum
Hi everyone I thought it was time I introduced myself. My name is Sara and I am Phoebe's Mum.
I started crafting as a child learning how to make simple embroidery gifts for family and friends.
My mum taught me how to knit and was always on hand with sage advice when things didn't go quite as planned.
I do have a love of wool, knitting and sheep and now I'm retired from the world of paid work I am looking forward to learning about dyeing, spinning and weaving.
When Phoebe started Cosy Creations by Phoebe I was very proud of her. Phoebe is a very talented crafter she has the ability to see something, understand it or work it out and crack on with it. It might not always perfect first time around but her stubborn streak which she gets from me, and her eye for detail means she always produces beautiful things. Phoebe also has an eye for colour and design which I can sometimes find a little more challenging.
It's lovely to have your daughter as your best yarn buddy and we spend many a happy hour or two 😊 talking things though and bouncing ideas off one another.
Phoebe is very busy at the moment with her young family and has very little time for crafting. We have both agreed that rather than let Cosy Creations fall by the wayside, we would keep it going with any crafting we did manage to get done. We would also share things which we thought our followers would find interesting, like my Scottish trip.
Hopefully between the two of us we can keep you interested and engaged until Phoebe has more time.
We have had a number of new followers recently and we are very happy to welcome you to our little corner of fb. We hope you will continue to enjoy our crafting journey. We do like to encourage you all to have a go at some off the things we get up to. Fear of failure is the biggest barrier to creativity so don't be afraid to get started. Phoebe and I have tried all sorts of things since she created this page.
So here's a picture of me with my cuddly highland cow Fergus who was brought for me by my partner whilst we were in Scotland.
