Q: Is it ok to keep feeding Oestress to my mare over the winter?

A: Absolutely. Although mares are seasonal breeders and typically go into anoestrous (non-breeding) over winter, we do advise keeping her on a maintenance of Oestress. This is partly as, due to modern management such as lit stables, we increasingly see year round cycling. Also as the Transition period in early spring, often causes her most disrupted cycles and can start as early as late January. Maintaining Oestress through winter keeps her primed for the spring Transition, and helps her channel her Girl Power!
