Another day, another rescue. This time it was “baby Geoff” who tried fledging a bit too early. He survived the storm but started to wilt very quickly in this heat and mum was nowhere to be seen. The rescue centre suggested sugar water on a cotton bud on the side of his beak…..and it worked ❤️. Geoff is off for some strength building before he’s released back out into his home. Love a success story however small 🥰

🤎A little bit of real life nature at Fable & Ren

We don’t usually support taking baby birds away from their natural home and whenever possible they should always stay with their parents in the wild 🐦

But after observation and continually finding these little guys falling from the nest, during this heat, with no sign of mum returning since yesterday, they were fading very quickly in front of our eyes.

So for now, we have turned into a temporary wildlife nursery and they are keeping us busy already.

Hopefully we can help them grow stronger day by day 🤎

We have an exciting weekend coming up and we’d love to see you! 🤎

✨ This Saturday at Badgers Hill there’s the Family Fun Day with plenty happening for little ones — including kids’ crafts to enjoy throughout the day at our shopping hut🎨🍂

We’re also busy preparing a beautiful selection of our nature-inspired pieces to head to the Kent Garden Show at Detling this weekend. Spreading the nature love out on the road🌸

The sun looks like it’s making an appearance and there will be plenty to see and do, so lets make this bank holiday weekend a fun filled one ☀️
