Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Flowers by KDM with nothing more than a passion for flowers, a lot of determination, and a dream that felt much bigger than me.
For the first four years, KDM became known for beautiful weddings, events, and floral installations. It was the foundation that taught me resilience, creativity, and what it truly means to build something from the ground up.
As the business evolved, so did I.
I returned to my first love… the flowers. All the flowers. 🌸
That journey led to the birth of Penelope Fleur, creating luxury everyday floristry, and more recently Bloom Box, Scotland’s first flower vending machine network, bringing beautiful flowers to people 24 hours a day.
While Penelope Fleur and Bloom Box have become the faces many people know today, KDM has never gone anywhere.
It’s still the heart behind our corporate florals, large-scale installations, luxury events, weddings, and everything that requires a little extra magic. Every Christmas display, every statement floral installation, every event transformation still carries the KDM name with enormous pride.
Looking back, I could never have imagined where this little business would take me.
There have been highs that have taken my breath away and challenges that have tested me more than I ever thought possible. But through every season, one thing has remained the same: my love for creating with flowers and the incredible people who have supported this journey.
To every client who has trusted me over the last eight years, every member of my team, every supplier, every venue, every friend, and every person who has shared, liked, recommended or believed in me… thank you.
