Hanging out your washing is hands-down better than using a dryer - right?

I confess I love washing lines! Seeing clean sheets wafting in the breeze on a sunny day makes my heart sing in a special kind of way. Sometimes I even photograph random lines of washing!

My top 3 reasons why washing lines are the best -

1. It’s free! No electricity needed, thank you very much, Mr Sun 🌞
2. Real air gets into your linens & clothes. Your dry washing smells of nature, not detergent 🍃
3. It’s eco-friendly and good for our world 🌍

I’ve lived in rentals my whole life, but that doesn’t mean I can’t bring the style ✨. A few well-chosen homeware accessories for each room instantly bring that cosy country feel to my rental flat. For my kitchen - a little gingham, some potted herbs in rustic planters on the windowsill, and my favourite teapot (and biscuits of course!) gives me the homely vibe 🫖🪴💕
