Today is the start of scan time. I had my 6 monthly echo today and all looks good with my heart. One medication I have causes heart failure, a double-edged sword!

Next month is PET CT scan times, also every 6 months and then oncology to see if im still "stable mable" or if treatment is failing and I need a treatment change. I really am hoping I can get to 4 years as stable metastatic disease.

Next month is also my 4 year cancerversary. It's always mixed. As a secondary patient, they always say 3-5 year life expectancy. I'm almost 4 years and thankful. It still makes you hyper aware of your morality quicker than we'd usually like.

I don't usually share anything here like this at all. Im also hyper aware that more people are being diagnosed.

Navigating life with a chronic, incureable condition is hard. Side effects from treatment make it actually worse. Life is about balance, about doing what you love and being with those you love. We can thrive, and im not a number or statistic.
