Where To Go!

It’s been a while since we posted due to work commitments 😭 but we felt this wee gem deserved a post of their own!

Last night, we visited and were blown away by the quality of wine, food and service! You’ll find this unique establishment hidden away in the sleepy town of Stewartstown. If you’re like me and hate buying a different bottle of wine in case you don’t like it then this is the place for you! Visit their page to discover how their wine tasting is so unique! It’s also worth knowing that the staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to their wines 😊

Not to worry if you’re not a wine drinker as the food alone is worth a visit and there’s a full bar option! It’s great to see that the amazing burgers are sourced from the fabulous award winning right across the road!

We’re looking forward to returning from one of their bottomless brunches 🥳🍷

I can’t believe that it’s only one more sleep and FlanaBakes HQ will be open 🤩

We will be open tomorrow from 10am-4pm

I would massively appreciate anyone and everyone to share this so it can be seen 😊

We have baked SO MUCH!! We’ll have brownies, blondies, cookies, doughnuts, rocky roads, caramel squares, bronuts and so much more...and a range of hot and cold beverages ☕️ 🍹

As well as goodie bags for the first 20 customers, tickets for you to win a years supply of brownies, and champagne too 🥂

Oh and EVERYTHING IS £2 tomorrow (except sweet cups)

Where To Go!

Finally got the opportunity to visit The Tailor's House in Ballygawley with a couple of friends. To say we were blown away by the food, is an understatement! Last nights meal is one of the best we’ve had since returning to Northern Ireland! The whipped goats cheese mousse on the winter vegetable tart was outstanding as was the pork cheek starter. The chips cooked in bone marrow that accompanied the superbly cooked steak were mouth wateringly good! The others ordered the venison which I was insanely jealous of as it too was delicious! Finished with the egg nog crème brûlée and a pistachio and cranberry brownie. The desserts were worth the trip alone! We can’t forget the delicious cocktails or the impeccable service. The owner was great craic! We’ll definitely be back and may even treat ourselves to wee overnight stay 🥳

Where To Go!

It’s all been about the catering and cake this weekend! The child graduated with a First (yes I’m still boasting) this week so we had a wee surprise party for her. I normally cater and bake for these things myself but having to travel for the graduation and work, I didn’t have the time, energy or if I’m honest the bother of shopping, cooking and baking 🙈 A swift phonecall and a few messages and I had food sorted by Roost&Roux and a cake from FlanaBakes .
I could not recommend these companies enough! The food was all homemade, top quality, fresh and plentiful! Everyone was raving about it. The cake was absolutely stunning and right up the child’s street! So tasty and moist! I’d definitely rethink making my own cakes in the future 🥰
