Since I’ve gained quite a few new followers recently, I thought I’d share a little bit more about the person behind Sew Sweet Stitches by Ellie 🥰🧵

👩‍👧‍👦 I’m a mum to 2 beautiful children
Being a mum is a huge part of who I am. My two little ones keep me very busy, but they’re also a massive part of the reason I do what I do. Building a little business around family life means so much to me.

🧵 I absolutely LOVE creating
There’s something so special about having an idea in my head and being able to turn it into something real. Whether it’s sewing, crochet, personalisation or creating a keepsake from something sentimental, I love watching a project come together piece by piece.

🧠 I have ADHD
My brain is basically 47 tabs open at all times 😂 I can have a million ideas running around my head and will often jump between projects because I get excited about the next thing! It definitely comes with its challenges, but I also think it’s a huge part of my creativity and the way I come up with new ideas.

🤠 I LOVE country music
If I’m working away in my craft room, there’s a very good chance country music is playing in the background! 🎶 Give me a bit of country music, a sewing machine and a pile of fabric and I’m happy!

🎨🌈 KIDS’ DREAM BAKE DRAWING COMPETITION! 🌈🎨

I’m looking for some little bakers to design their very own dream treat! 🍪🧁

All you need is some paper and colouring pencils to enter but are welcome to get as creative as you like! It could be a cookie, brownie, cake, rocky road—or something completely new! Draw it, decorate it and give your creation a fun name. Let your imagination run wild! ✨

How to enter:

🎨 Create your dream bake on paper
📸 Ask a parent or guardian to photograph it
💬 Post your little baker’s masterpiece in the comments below
✏️ Include the child’s first name and age

The competition closes at 9pm on Tuesday evening.

Once all the entries have been received, I’ll share the pictures in a voting post and let you choose your favourite! ❤️
