Q: What are your top three books/ series of this year?

Babel was one I absolutely adored, it’s so unique and just a masterpiece really! So when i was contacted about making a custom Babel candle I was so excited I got to do a candle for this book 🙌🏼 and I love making custom candles as it means you get something special and you get exactly what you want. I’m really happy with how it turned out ✨🤍

Q: How is your Christmas shopping/ planning going? Have you got anything planned for the festive period?

Sharing the Per Aspera Ad Astra candles today - I recently re read the Red Rising series because its one of my ultimate favourites 🥹 i had to wait a while before I read the last book because of the *pain* but I just finished and wow I just love it so much! It’s brutal and real and raw and the characters are all amazing and flawed and authentic 🤍 so if you haven’t read it please do and come rant to me about it hahah

Q: What genres have you been reading lately?

Lately I’ve been in the mood for dark academia, contemporary fantasy or dystopian! I haven’t felt much like ya fantasy lately but I’ve read a few 🤷‍♀️

✨ NEW CANDLE ALERT ✨

I’ve officially added some new candles to the shop 🥳 I was going to wait as a I have a few more to add next week but…. I couldn’t wait hahah. I hope you like the new ones! There’s a few autumny ones - Samhain, Ghost Stories - as well as some characters I love that I just had to do - Draco, Darius, Wrath!

Q: What book releases are you excited for?

This month has so many great releases and I am hyped for A Ballad of Never After, Kingdom of the Feared and The Golden Enclaves and then in a few month I cannot wait for the release of Zodiac Academy 8!!!
I anticipate lots of binging of these books in my future 😌

Hey! How are you all doing? What are you reading?

Unfortunately I’ve got the dreaded Covid 😭 I haven’t had it before as I’d managed to avoid it but alas it caught up with me at last. Im feeling pretty terrible which has delayed candle making sadly but I’ll get back to it as soon as I can 🤍

Reading update: I just finished Vicious which I loved 🙌🏼 I’m a large way through We Hunt the Flame but it’s paused as I’m not feeling it, and I’m 25% though A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes which I’m liking way more than I though I would 🤷‍♀️

Jacks and Evangeline just went out of stock butttt I’m contemplating making a few more… is that something you’re interested in?

Reading wise I am about half way through The Hero of Ages, it’s really good and im very invested so it didn’t take any time at all to get into!
Lately I’ve also read Cress, Book of Night and Red Rising which I LOVED and can’t wait to continue the series … do we want to see some Red Rising candles? 👀

Q: What’s a new release you’re excited for?

June seems to has a whole lot of great releases! These Twisted bonds is one I’m very much excited for and I cannot wait for Glow 🙌🏼 I’ve been dying for Glow ever since I binged the plated prisoner series last year, Auren and Rip are epic and I have no idea where their story is going but I am HYPED!

Update: I have a few restocks in the works but it’s taking a little longer than I expected due. And there’s a couple of new candles coming 😁

Hey friends! What are some of your favourite sci fi books?

I’m relatively new to sci fi but I’ve loved all the books I’ve read! I still need to read the last Aurora Cycle book but I loved the first two. The Crownchasers duology was a really fun sci fi and I have Red Rising on my TBR that I’m very much looking forward to 😍
