I'm really liking the SMS paints, easy to use and with great coverage.

I will do more on them when I back from SMW next week.

Main paint and decals done......this aircraft had a very striking scheme where it was oversprayed in the field with RLM 02, which I will tackle next.

A painted Helldiver.😁

Mr Hobby HSF-02 Mr Surfacer Aqueous 1000 White primer for the base coat and Tamiya XF-17/ XF-18 heavily thinned for top coats.

Next up a gloss varnish, as the last thing I need is troublesome decals.

No Helldiver pics today but instead a 1:48 Airfix 109e which I started last week. A kit I can highly recommend if you have never built one 'this is my 3rd' as they are a nice stress free build and good for the old mojo.

My inspiration for building one was from watching James Holland and Al Murray on their YouTube channel covering the Battle of Britain.
