My youngest daughter Thea can't wear anything itchy so I knitted her this beanie bonnet with this gorgeous fluffy yarn 😍

The beanie bonnet is my new favourite hat design, it cover the ears and has a split brim which is great if you like to wear your hair in a low pony tail.

You'll be seeing plenty more beanie bonnets using all types of different yarns 🤩

Hello, it's been a while 😊
A tentative dip back into the knitty pool after waking up with a stiff neck and shoulder pain nearly a month ago. Whilst it's still not 100% back to normal I need to try and get stock finished for our local Scouts Christmas fair and outstanding orders.
So I finished this which has been on my needles since last month 🤩

Possibly my most favourite set I've ever knitted. These baby boots and beanie have gone off to their new home today as a gift for my lovely boss (now ex boss 😭) and friend Becca who is awaiting the arrival of her 2nd baby this month. S*x of baby is unknown so I went with fairly neutral colours.
So pleased with how it all turned out 😍
I will be making more of these little sets 🤩

Beanie Pattern: The beginning and end is based on the by .ewe but the main body is my design.. aka me winging it 🙈

The Hot Dish Beanie and Hot Dish Headband by the lovely .handknits is now live!!
After test knitting the Hot Dish Bonnet earlier in the year I had to test knit the beanie and headband.

I love this pattern, you don't need to be experienced in colour work and it might not look it, but it is quick knit.
I love how the colour combinations are just endless ❤️

Sounds a bit familiar? Well you're not mistaken!
My first ever test knit was for the back in February this year, and the lovely Sahnya, aka .handknits has gone and done it again with a beanie and headband version.
I've been waiting patiently for these patterns and they do not disappoint 😍😍 I've already completed the headband and beanie, but this is a sneak peek of the beanie before its completion.

So I seem to be in my pumpkin era when I should be my in Christmas prep era 🙈

I'm not very well at the moment (yeah cheers stupid body) so the knitting is taking my mind off things instead of constantly doom scrolling.

Ha!! It did not beat me, this was the beanie I frogged the other night. You know, one of my all time favourite patterns that I probably know how to knit without even looking at the pattern.
But meh... it's not like I frogged it another two times the next day or anything right? 😭😭😭

Just need to pom it.

Anyhoooo.... this stunning yarn is from the one and only one of my favourite UK indie dyers who just so happens to have some discontinued colourway yarns on discount right now ❤️

That's me... tonight.. after frogging a half knitted beanie. Got caught up in the TV show and at the start of a new round I genuinely couldn't remember which round I had just done and even if it was the right one.
Pi**ed was not the word that I ended up frogging it and put the yarn and needles away, so they couldn't mock me!!!
(So that's the polite version anyway).
I won't be able to look at that yarn or pattern for at least a week now 🙈
