Please Stand By…

I’m taking a break from my preferred posting schedule at the moment while I re-evaluate Max and Minnie Crafts and where I’m going with it. Don’t worry, I’m not vanishing completely!

I just recently discovered that any toys (crochet or otherwise) have to be UCKA tested, certified, and marked in order to sell them, which kind of threw me for a loop. I’ve decided that instead of making plushies to sell (I call them that even though they’re not made with plushie yarn), I might just make the patterns to sell instead (some I may share for free 👀), and besides that I’m going to be thinking more about the crochet homeware side of things.

I love the idea of making loads more crochet plants (and updated the current succulent because I’m not happy with them) along with a bunch of other homeware and decor ideas I have, so while I’m figuring all that out I may be quite quiet here! I will still aim to post a little about my personal projects so you know I’m still here, but nothing new. I’ll also still aim to post about some of my Christmas stock as some of them are decorations and not plushies so they don’t need testing.

I just wanted to put out a little update to let you all know why I’m quite quiet at the moment and that I will be back at some point, possibly in the new year. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and has a great week ahead of them!

We’ve been working on our Christmas products throughout October, and hope to have them all ready for release by November 1st!
Coming soon for Christmas we will have 3 new turtle designs (snowflake, Santa, and gingerbread), snowmen, and star tree toppers. Thank you to everyone who has helped us finalise designs for some of these by voting in our polls! It is very much appreciated!

Don’t forget, if you’re planning on ordering from a small business ready for Christmas, do it sooner than later! We’re so used to ordering from places like Amazon and getting quick deliveries, we can sometimes forget that it takes longer for small businesses, especially when they have to make the items before sending them out!

Another item coming for Christmas, snowmen! These are so cute, and I’m so glad I changed the pattern from the ones I made last year because they look much better (now I’ve learnt to use the correct size hook for amigurumi), and these ones are small enough to hang on the Christmas tree!
