It's Making Monday time and this week we have this glorious garden of rosebud's from Sara Emmins . How did it go? Hope these were all picked up at Empire last weekend!

I love seeing the different uses of chainmaille and these roses are a wonderful example of structural chainmaille - which is not easy to get right as it relies on really specific rings sizes and there is never a guarantee that what worked in one colour, will work in another.

It's that time of the week when it's your time to shine and showcase what you've been making and this week's feature goes to Phil Webster who has made these rainbow full persian earrings. So pretty!!
I love the way the rainbows change direction, it creates such a different visual to the usual matching pair.

If you saw my 'making Monday' post, you might have guessed this week's Weave Wednesday.
I really like spiral weaves, but if you've ever made a standard spiral and then watched in dismay as it unspiralled in front of your eyes, then this is the solution to that problem.
Crafted using mobius units with the spiral, triskelion holds it's shape. It's pretty much a two step weave once you get it started, but unless you are used to working with mobius units, it can be fiddly, so I would say it was more intermediate than beginner.

Not only is it a new month, but it's also Monday, which means it's time for another Making Monday post. I've been working on some new stock for an in person market we're trading at this month and I've also got a commission to work on - I wish I could take on every enquiry and I've had some amazing enquiries I've had to turn down! The most recent one was the opportunity to make pieces for a series premiere and afterparty, but sadly the time frame was just too short 😪.
