Would you believe how much it costs a small business to put on a week of Halloween fun? 🎃
Behind the spooky milkshakes, chocolate marshmallows, games, giveaways and Halloween excitement at Sweet Tiger, there was a LOT of planning, preparation and, of course, expense!
From decorations and ingredients to packaging, prizes, marketing and extra staff, it all adds up. And remember, we're just a little independent sweet shop on Crowthorne High Street!
We spent over two months planning our Halloween half-term events, with something different happening every day.
So why did we do it?
Because we want to bring a little excitement back to our High Street. We want families to have a reason to visit, children to make memories and new customers to discover what our little shop has to offer.
As a small business, every penny matters, especially when High Street footfall is falling and costs keep rising. Events like these are a big investment, and there's never a guarantee they'll pay off.
But would I do it all again? ABSOLUTELY!
Seeing the children smiling, welcoming new faces and watching our ideas come to life made every bit of hard work worthwhile.
