Our campaign coincides with the busy shopping period on the approach to Christmas and shines a light on all businesses that have been impacted by the cost of Living crisis.

At Pile Breaking Hire we want to promote the ' Shop Local, Shop Crossgar Christmas 2023 message, which highlights the village’s unique business offering and encourages residents to prioritise local products and services above others when purchasing their Christmas gifts.

If you cannot visit a store in person, another brilliant way to show your support is to buy a gift voucher for a loved one, friends or family member. We would encourage Crossgar traders to comment below if they can offer Gift Vouchers.

At Pile Breaking Hire we recognise the last few years have been extremely challenging for local traders struggling to cope with the pressures of the COVID pandemic, Recession and now with the increase in the Cost of living.

Moving to Downpatrick Street for us this year we felt we needed to do something more, to give something back to the community and to raise awareness in support of local businesses in Crossgar through Christmas 2023', and into 2024.

We have started this process by creating this page 'Shop Local, Shop Crossgar Christmas 2023 and will be in touch with as many local traders in the coming days and weeks to help generate some additional Christmas spirit and encourage everyone to shop in the village of Crossgar.
