🏆 World Cup Look for a Book ⚽️

To celebrate the World Cup this year, I thought I’d run this summer’s Look for a Book slightly differently…

I will still be hiding books throughout the summer for children to find, read and enjoy BUT I will also be hiding some golden tickets inside them which will entitle that child to a completely free football themed book of their choice! ⚽️

The first opportunity to get your hands on these books and special golden tickets is West Bergholt Summer Fest on 13th June 🎊

I am therefore also looking for some fabulous businesses or individuals who would be interested in sponsoring some books for the children to find ❤️

Really excited for this event - watch this space for more information about a little World Cup inspired competition running on the day! ⚽️

Join Us for the West Bergholt Village Fete/Fest on 13th June!


Mark your calendars for Saturday, 13th June, and come along to the WB Village Fete/Fest, a day packed with music, dance, food, and fun for all ages!

From Noon to 6 pm, explore a vibrant array of craft stalls and food trucks, perfect for browsing unique handmade items or grabbing a tasty bite. Entertainment kicks off from noon to 4 pm, with performances from Heathlands school choir WB Concert Band, the Essex Police Band, and the lively dance act Jazz Hands.

The musical excitement continues from 4 pm to 10pm with a fantastic lineup of bands, including Charity Pancaldi-Loxler, Those Colchester Buskers, Topcasters Duo, Old Street Rockers, and Tall Guy Lee—something for every music lover and with food trucks and refreshments available throughout what’s not to love!

Bring your family and friends to enjoy a day of community spirit, great music, and delicious food at the Village Fete Festival. Don’t miss out on this celebration of local talent and fun!

🎪These are all the summer fayres I have booked in over the next few weeks 🎪 However, I am already having to say no to other stalls happening on the same days meaning fewer books are getting into children’s hands 📚

This is one of the best times of the year to join Usborne as there are so many opportunities to attend fayres, run Look for a Books while the weather is nice and build up all those relationships that will keep your book business going year round 🌸

Plus, it’s a fab way of making some extra pennies for all those little summer treats ☀️

💜NEW TITLES DAY💜

It’s my favourite day of the month again and this one is a BIG one!

What a stunning collection of new titles, I can’t believe how much has been released!

Now as the mum of boys, the K-Pop phenomenon has somewhat passed by this household but I am well aware of how popular it is on a wider scale so it is beyond exciting that Usborne have just brought out a Sticker Dolly Dressing K-POP edition!
