🧶 STEEL WOOL… because sometimes your wood needs a little pampering! 😂
We’ve got 3 grades of steel wool in stock at Why-Aye Wood:
🔹 Extra Fine – for getting that lovely smooth finish
🔹 Medium – great for smoothing between coats of finish
🔹 Coarse – handy for tougher jobs, cleaning tools and removing old finishes
For woodturners, the finer grades are particularly useful for rubbing back finishes, buffing wax and getting that silky-smooth finish. ✨
Basically, if your finish is looking a bit “meh”, steel wool might just be the answer! 😆
💡 Top tip: Use it carefully and with the grain, especially on open-pore woods where those tiny fibres can get stuck.
