🚨🎖️ ROYAL ARMOURED CORPS QUEEN’S CROWN BADGE SUBMITTED FOR MOD PRE-APPROVAL! 🎖️🚨
We are delighted to announce that another British Army-inspired design has now been submitted to the Ministry of Defence for pre-production approval.
This latest project celebrates the proud heritage of the Royal Armoured Corps and features the Queen’s Crown, reflecting the service of generations of soldiers who served during the reign of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Formed on 4 April 1939, the Royal Armoured Corps brought together the cavalry and tank units of the British Army under a single corps. Since then, RAC soldiers have played a vital role in British military operations around the world, earning a reputation for professionalism, courage and determination in both wartime and peacetime service.
At the centre of this design is the iconic armoured gauntlet, a symbol synonymous with the Royal Armoured Corps. Representing strength, resilience and armoured fighting power, it stands as a tribute to the generations of soldiers who have served within the Corps and upheld its proud traditions.
The Queen’s Crown remains particularly significant to many veterans and former servicemen and women whose military careers took place during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. As with many of our military heritage designs, we endeavour to represent both Crown eras wherever possible. The Queen’s Crown honours those who served under Her Late Majesty, while the King’s Crown recognises those serving today under His Majesty King Charles III. By producing both versions, we aim to ensure that the service and achievements of personnel from both eras are appropriately recognised and remembered.
As part of our ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating Britain’s military heritage, this design has now been submitted through the official MOD licensing and approval process. Subject to approval, we look forward to adding it to our growing collection of MOD-licensed military displays.
Every design is proudly created in Leicestershire and developed through the appropriate MOD licensing and approval procedures, ensuring that military history and tradition remain at the heart of everything we produce.
We will keep everyone updated as the approval process progresses and look forward to sharing further developments in due course.
The Royal Armoured Corps has proudly served through both Crown eras. We’d love to hear which version holds the greatest significance for you and the memories or service it represents. Let us know in the comments below.
