Say hello to Kieran, one of the newest members of the Black Duck Flooring team.

Although he's one of our more recent additions, Kieran has quickly earned the respect of everyone around him. With a wise head on young shoulders, he's known for keeping a calm approach and finding practical solutions to the trickier challenges that can arise on a flooring project.

His attention to detail, problem-solving mindset and willingness to get stuck in make him a real asset to the team and we're excited to see him continue to grow with us.

Outside of work, Kieran is a keen motorbike enthusiast, but his favourite role by far is being a dedicated dad to his young family. When he's not on site, you'll often find them heading off on their next camping adventure and making memories together.

Meet Lily, Ben's wife and the other half of Black Duck Flooring.

Working behind the scenes two days a week, Lily plays a huge role in keeping the business running smoothly, managing the finances and making sure everything stays on track… all with a cup of tea never too far away! ☕️

While much of her work happens away from the spotlight, her support, organisation and dedication have been a key part of Black Duck Flooring's journey and continued success.

Outside of work, Lily is a proud mum to her and Ben's two adventurous boys, both under three. Family life keeps them busy, whether they're exploring the woods with their two dogs, enjoying the outdoors, or spending quality time with friends and family.

Ben shares his approach to working as a team of two. By giving each person a defined role, you can keep the installation flowing, avoid unnecessary trips up and down and work far more efficiently throughout the day.

It’s the little adjustments like these that save time, reduce fatigue and help maintain the high standard of finish every customer expects.
