A horse watercolour gifted last week 🤎

I knew I’d be posting this on my page today and I dreamt that I was gifted a horse last night (?!) I knew absolutely nothing about them, what equipment I needed, what care they required… I still feel a little bit stressed about it 😂 I think I’ll just stick to painting them… but I do think they are the most beautiful animal 😍

As many of you all know, I’ve worked very closely with Blue Bear & Co over the last two years, creating our beautiful book “Finding you” together and we’ve also got another suprise coming up in the near future.

This Sunday I’ll be putting all my recent running training to the test and running Lytham half marathon.

Bluebear & Co have the option on the website to sponsor a bear and I have raised enough funds to do this!
This means that I will pay for one of Nici’s beautiful fluffy bears to go to a family or individual that needs one ❤️‍🩹 for love, comfort and connection.

I would absolutely LOVE to raise as much as I can to provide at least one more bear.

I am £60 away from being able to do this.

I know money is tight for a lot of people, I know it’s a big ask. But please if you can just give this post a share or even better a donation. Anything at all is appreciated.

A portrait completed this week for my lovely customer. Who also brought me some biscuits when she came to collect it, thank you so much! ☺️

I tried to keep this one looking soft by adding a water layer over the top of the finished piece, to soften the strokes and lines. 💛

Painted using Winsor & Newton watercolours, Daler-Rowney paper and some fine liners 🖊️
