There's a coat I keep coming back to every autumn.
Not because it's particularly complicated. The opposite, actually. It's the simplest, most satisfying thing to make, and every time I do it I remember why I love working with boiled wool. The weight of it. The way it just sits right.
This is the Bianca Coat. A relaxed shape, overlocked together for speed, with a beautiful decorative edge finish and pockets big enough to actually use. You can make it in boiled wool, bouclΓ©, heavyweight jersey. Any of those fabrics that feel like proper autumn.
All it takes to make it is one day in the studio, and you'll leave with a finished garment at the end of it. Sound like something up your street? π
