This lovely gentleman dedicated his career to serving in several police forces, including the Metropolitan Police, where he was working when he met his beloved wife.

Of all the collar numbers he wore throughout his years of service, this one held the most special place in her heart, as it was the one he wore when they first started courting.

It was a privilege to create this extra-large posy, incorporating his cherished collar number, which beautifully complemented the police force drape on his coffin.

I was honoured to play a small part in celebrating his life, and it was a pleasure to work alongside Tim Matthews Independent Family Funeral Director who cared for this gentleman and his lovely family.

Derm had spent many years working as a BP oil tanker driver before enjoying his retirement.

His family wanted his final journey to reflect a career that meant so much to him, so I designed a tribute showing him driving along Hamble Lane in his iconic BP tanker. A particularly special detail was incorporating the model tanker that had been presented to him on his retirement, displayed on a floral base. His wife wanted this treasured gift to accompany him on his final journey, making the tribute even more meaningful.

Derm and his family were so thoughtfully looked after by Claire at A H Freemantle Ltd. and it was a privilege to work alongside her in helping create such a fitting farewell.

Delighted to be providing the floral displays for the newly opened and much sought-after coffee shop, Hatch & Barrel
in West Southampton (SO30)

With fresh arrangements being delivered either weekly or twice monthly, selecting the longer lasting flower varieties is essential to ensure the displays remain vibrant and impactful throughout their time in situ.
My first arrangement certainly faced a challenge, having to withstand the recent heatwave 🙄!

A couple of weeks ago I had the honour of creating the coffin spray for a dear friend’s Mum , Gwen.
It was one of the most personal and moving services I have ever attended.

Her son’s eulogy was exceptional – full of cherished memories, heartfelt emotion and humour. John shared that one afternoon, a few years ago, his mum began reminiscing about her younger days and telling stories from her life. It was a rare and precious conversation, and thankfully he made notes at the time. Those memories became part of the wonderful tribute he gave that day , painting a vivid picture of the person she was and the life she had lived.

The celebrant, David Adcock then skilfully brought everything together, guiding the service with warmth and compassion and creating a fitting farewell for a much-loved lady.

Another “thin blue line” wreath made for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary. It’s an honour to be asked to make these.
A service for this much loved serving officer was held within the grounds of the training school , Hamble and was placed in the memorial garden. 💙
