Pendleside Hospice is celebrating the successful opening of its 10th charity shop following a fantastic launch day at its brand-new store in Burnley town centre.

Having a clear out? We urgently need your donations of good quality, bric a brac, toys, household goods and more!
All your donations go towards supporting patients in our local community and can be dropped off at our Donation Centre or any of our shops.

And for those wondering, 'what exactly is Bric a brac' , well, Bric a brac covers all kinds of small household treasures that aren't clothes, books, or furniture – think homeware, ornaments, kitchen bits, and quirky little things!

Some examples of bric a brac we love include:

- Vases, candle holders, and decorative household items
- Mugs, crockery, and kitchen gadgets
- Picture frames, clocks, and collectables
- Ornaments, curiosities and anything interesting!

Just over 33 years ago, on the 15th of May 1993, we opened our very first shop on Keirby Walk in Burnley.

And now, with the opening of our new Charter Walk store, it's time to bid a fond farewell to Keirby Walk as today is it's final day.

Well, sort of.

Because, actually, we love our Keirby shop and like a first born child, it feels a bit special. So rather than say goodbye, its a [very] brief farewell, following by a 'Hello, you look different'

Because when it reopens on Saturday 27th June, its going to be a very different shop. And we think you're going to love it.
