Sunspot Jaywick Sands A business centre on Jaywick Sands seafront with cafe, business units, market and other facilities. It is run by Tendring District Council.

The Sunspot is a landmark, purpose-built business centre on the seafront at Jaywick Sands, offering 24 affordable units, suitable for retail, office, studio and workshop tenants, as well as a range of other facilities, including meeting/training room and indoor and outdoor market space. Construction of the building was funded by £2.39million from the Government’s Getting Building Fund administered

by the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, with £2.04million from Essex County Council and £816,000 from Tendring District Council; which is also using part of its UK Shared Prosperity Fund allocation for operating costs.

🚌✨ Arts on the Move is returning to Sunspot! ✨🚌

After a fantastic week of creativity, music and community activities, we're delighted to welcome Arts on the Move back to Sunspot for another week of FREE events for all ages.

🎵 Making Beats Workshop & Live Music with Kinozolte
👗 Community Fashion Show & Clothing Repair Station

A great opportunity for young people to learn music production from a professional artist, for families to enjoy creative activities together, and for anyone interested in sustainable fashion to get involved.

Our free Housing Community Fun Day is just 6 days away!

Join us at Rush Green Recreation Ground, Clacton, on Wednesday, 29th July, from 10AM to 4PM for a fantastic day of family fun and community activities.
