Are you considering whether a multi monitor set up could be a worthwhile investment for you or your colleagues? There are studies out there that say yes it's a good idea, and others that will argue the opposite, so the best advice is to really think about the types of tasks that are being performed.

Two screens come into their own when working with multiple applications as the set up allows you to have them open simultaneously so no more switching between app windows.
Not only does this improve productivity, it reduces the amount of mistakes made too.

However, potential for distraction (with too many applications open), working with a single application and neck strain/eye fatigue from an incorrect set up are reasons you may decide not to make the investment.

If you work in a bigger office you could trial it with a spare screen, maybe while a colleague is on holiday!

Although for some people the thought of financial year end can be a thing to dread, but why not embrace it as an opportunity to have a proper clear out - it is officially Spring, after all!
Why not get the shredder fired up and get rid of all that out of date paperwork that's been cluttering up the place, get in some new archive boxes for the things you do need to keep, and make sure you properly mark them up before stuffing them into the filing cabinet. This is a top tip as there's nothing more annoying that having to drag out box after box out for a full on rummage when trying to locate that one vital piece of paper!
Colour coding and coordinating your lever arch files and box files is also a great way to stay organised - simple when you know how!

From 31st March 2025 companies with 10+ full-time employees will be required to separate recyclable materials before collection and ensure they remain separate during processing.
Here is a checklist to ensure you are ready:

• Audit your waste to identify areas for improvement
• Use clear labelling to help identify and separate waste correctly
• Check contracts with your waste management provider to ensure they are in line with new regulations

Here is what you’ll need to recycle:

Dry Recycling: glass, metal, plastic, paper and card
Food Waste: such as lunch leftovers or waste from food preparation
Plastic Film: from March 2027
