Our summer box is out for the next six weeks, and each of the five chocolates in it has its own little story.

We've got five different, delicious chocolates featuring in our Summer Chocolate Box. You'll get at least one of each of the five flavours: Raspberry Praline, Lemon Posset Praline, Fresh Mint & Juniper Praline, Passionfruit & Heather Honey Praline, and Strawberry with Peppercorn Vinegar Praline, with duplicates of some to make up the full nine.

Just outside Braemar is Morrone Birkwood, one of the finest downy birchwoods in the UK, with juniper growing throughout it. It's a plant under some pressure, so we use only commercially available juniper, and sparingly, pairing it with fresh mint in this classic combination.

It picked up a bronze at the Scotland Retail Food & Drink Awards in 2022, so we think we got the balance right, it's really delicious and pairs beautifully with the others in the summer box!

We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain landscape in Scotland, and we would not have it any other way.

The Mountain Mint Bar started as a way of celebrating that. A surprisingly bold fresh mint white chocolate ganache, wrapped in smooth dark chocolate. Clean, bright, and a little bit unexpected.

And because we love the hills even more knowing that help is there if things go wrong, 50p from every bar sold goes directly to Braemar Mountain Rescue.

A great bar for mint chocolate lovers, and a good one to pick up before or after a walk in the hills.

Our summer chocolate box is out, built around five chocolates that sum up the season for us.

Raspberry praline, fresh mint and juniper praline, passionfruit with heather honey praline, strawberry with black peppercorn vinegar praline, and a lemon posset praline, our nod to a dessert that's long been a favourite in the Royal Family.

Our Cranachan Truffle is a tribute to one of the most Scottish desserts there is.

At the centre is a layer of raspberry pâte de fruit, topped with smooth white chocolate ganache and finished with toasted gluten-free oats for a little texture and crunch.

We also wanted this chocolate to feel properly rooted in Braemar, so we use two local ingredients that are close to home for us: Royal Lochnagar whisky and Braemar honey.

The whisky brings warmth and depth without overpowering the chocolate, while the honey adds a soft floral sweetness that works beautifully with the raspberry.

It’s rich, fruity, and unmistakably Scottish.

A good one to try if you like chocolates that tell a bit of a story as well as taste good.

Lots of people asked us for just caramel - the gorgeous caramel in our pralines - nice & simple and - we think- one of our best selling bars!

Our caramel is handmade right here in our shop, and its smooth flavour is the perfect partner for Papouasie 35% single-origin milk chocolate. With its smoke and hazelnut hints, this gorgeous milk chocolate makes this bar a total caramel treat.

There are some products you make once and know straight away that they are going to stay.

The Shetland Bar is one of those. Slowly caramelised white chocolate, giving it that deep golden colour and rich flavour, finished with a sprinkle of sea salt harvested by hand on the west Atlantic coast of Shetland. The result is a bar that is sweet, smooth and gently salty and very tasty!!

It has been our most popular seller since the beginning. When we first made it we could not keep up with demand, and not much has changed since - I think you guys love it as much as we do!

Honeycomb is one of those things that sounds simple but takes real skill to get right.

We make ours in slabs using our own recipe, then Dave cuts each batch by hand before it goes into the chocolate.

The result is a milk chocolate bar with a definite honey taste, a slightly chewy texture and a satisfying crunch that only proper handmade honeycomb gives you. Very tasty!
