The annual summer special pallet arrival of one of my best sellers always brings the sunshine...

Unfortunately it doesn't bring the stock to your shelves with some deliveries hindered today thanks to the ongoing disruptions and disturbances that really have no protest qualities whatsoever. So apologies to those I still have to visit, I'll be with you as soon as I can.

Guys I had planned to collect stock (slight delay coming from Dublin this week) this evening and start delivering tonight but given the current horrific events and protest concerns, I'll be staying off the road, hope you understand.

Do you want to back your favourite venues, help your high street and support local jobs? Then sign this petition to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.

Our pubs, restaurants, cafes, hotels, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities but they are struggling.

We all bring people together and bring life to our cities, towns and villages, but we’re under huge pressure from rising costs.

In the UK, we pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your pint, meal out or night away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany 7%.. the Republic of Ireland is moving to 9% for food on July 1st - we’ll be more than double that.

Our message to Government is simple. Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.
