One man's shadow and his search for driftwood. This is Knockinelder beach on the east coast of Northern Ireland where many of the pieces made by Ceardai Crafts start their journey to market.

Beach walks are great for mind and body, and it's such a privilege to be able to include these beautiful places as part of my work.

Hand carved mushroom morfs into a keyring as if by magic!

These small pieces take some accuracy and patience. A carving knife is extremely sharp and special gloves are worn to ensure all fingers remain intact.. my knife came with a sticking plaster because the makers have a sense of humour 😀

Little carved mushroom scene was a lot of fun to create. Will be at SBC Farmers' Markets in Stone this Saturday in spite of any weather. And this will be with me 😊
