Antique Post War Second World War Two WW2 British Military Issue Swiss Made Nickel Plated Chronograph-Stopwatch with Ruby Jewel Mechanical Movement made by Carmerer Cuss, London & Patented by Taylor.

Very Good (Non-Running) Condition: 100% original. My knowledge of watches is pretty basic. As far as I can tell it appears to just need a long due service. I had it running for about five minutes & while trying to test it, it stopped. It's not overwound & there's no signs of anything in the mech so I reckon it just needs a bit of tlc & some oil. (Neither of which I know how to do). As ypu can see, the movement is very clean with only very light surface wear here & there. Nothing noticeable though. Movement engraved: No3364-1395279. Inner dome stamped: U & hand etched with services / repairs. Outer dome has noticeable surface wear & a deep scratch. Front/back case has visible surface wear but nothing overly noticeable. All parts of hinge & joint are great. Case body is the same as the front/back apart from around the lip where there's scrapes from incorrect leverage has been used. Push button, crown / crown push & sliding switch all move as they should & from the brief 5min test the appear to work too. The bow swings smoothly. The "glass" is plastic & has light surface scratches & light discolouration (only visible through strong glass). The bottom of the main hand has a very small spec of rust but the others seen to be okay. All still look to have their blueing fairly intact. The dial looks good apart from a very small area below the main hand's rust spec where there's a light brown dot approx 1mm around the P of PATENT. The last pics are from a electronic magnifier.

This belonged to a gentleman who served in the Royal Ulster Rifles & Ulster Defence Regiment.

Pair of Edwardian Pre 1922 Silver Coloured White Metal King Edward VII Crown 9- String Irish Constabulary (RIC) Collar Dogs / Badges.

Excellent Condition: 100% original. No repairs. Most likely a marriage of two separate badges. Most of the black finish is still present but still showing a fair amount of the silver coloured white metal base material on the raised areas. Still very detailed with only minor wear to the crown corners of the harps. All the strings are straight & intact. They look yo have beem made by two different manufacturers as there's a approx 1g difference in weight. The heavier one is slightly better quality & weighs approx 5g. The lugs are original & undamaged. The back of the badges is very clean, but there is a very slight difference in patina because of the differences in manufacturing quality. The lighter badges has some light scratches to the black finish on the inside of the harp.

One Single George V Pre 1922 Silver Coloured White Metal King's Crown 9- String Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) Collar Dog / Badge.

Very Good Condition: 100% original. No repairs. All the black finish on the front is gone, showing only silver coloured white metal base material. Still nicely detailed with only light wear to the usual raised areas like the top left & right of the harp. Barely noticable though. The strings are a little misaligned but that's easily fixed. The 3rd string from the left has a very small dent or manufacturing flaw approx 0.5mm. The back has still a fair bit of black finish & some remnants of glue or lacquer which would have held the red felt backing in place. There is no felt backing or rear fixing pin included in this sale. The lugs are original & undamaged.
