Hive of activity in the Harts Barrow workshop this morning where a whole host of cherished items of jewellery are being skillfully repaired. So far today, a much-loved necklace is having a broken link restored and a watch its worn out hands replaced.

Every Wednesday is fresh produce delivery day for Tuk's Thai Foods! The variety, and aroma, is amazing and a lot of what she sells - such as Holy Basil - is sourced direct from Thailand and can't be bought anywhere else in Cumbria!

She also has all the sauces, pastes and spices to turn her fresh vegetables and fruits into the perfect dish. If you are tempted but don't know where to begin, Tuk is on hand to offer her advice on how to put together an amazing meal!

Today is Jacqui and Tony’s last day as part of the team at Barrow Market. With a combined service with the Council of 52 years, both have certainly earned a long and happy retirement.
