🎈 A LITTLE REMINDER FROM A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER ❤️ 🎈

I wanted to share this balloon stack I made recently, because unfortunately there’s a bit of a story behind it.

I came across a Facebook post from a lady who was struggling to get something for her granddaughter’s 4th birthday. 💕 I reached out to her privately and offered to make her a balloon stack completely FREE OF CHARGE, with just one condition — that it was collection only.

These particular stacks would normally cost around £70–£75, so this was something I was more than happy to do to help make a little girl’s birthday extra special. 🎈🥰

I spent my own time, balloons, materials, vinyl and money creating the stack, had it ready for the agreed collection day… only to then be told that she was unable to collect it.

Unfortunately, that means the stack has now gone to waste, along with all of the materials and time that went into making it. 💔

I’m not sharing this to be nasty or to shame anyone — I just wanted to give a little insight into what goes on behind the scenes of a small business.

When you see a balloon display, you’re not just paying for the balloons. You’re paying for the materials, vinyl, design time, preparation, labour, experience and the time spent creating something especially for you.

I’m always more than happy to help where I can, and I genuinely love being able to do things like this for people. ❤️ But unfortunately, situations like this are a reminder that even when something is gifted, there is still a real cost to a small business.

That being said… I don’t want this balloon stack to go to waste. 🎈❤️

So, if there is a family out there who may genuinely be struggling at the moment and has a little one turning 4 soon, I would still be more than happy to gift this balloon stack to them.

Collection only from YO26, and I’d love for it to go to someone who will genuinely appreciate it and put a big smile on a little 4-year-old’s face. 🥹🎈❤️

At 12:15am last night, I received a message from a lovely mum asking if I could possibly create a last-minute 2nd birthday balloon stack for her little girl for tomorrow… and of course, I said YES! 🥹🎈💕

She told me her little girl is OBSESSED with Toy Story and absolutely loves pink, so I got to work designing something especially for her! 💗✨

And this is what we came up with! 🥰🎀
