Taking a quick break from The Memory Keeper today to flex some fresh work straight off the anvil.

That’s three years of studio evolution stacked onto one hand—from my earliest twisted copper wire to custom soldered stone settings, brass armor, and metallic claws. Sound on for that glass tap 🔊

Throwback to wearing the sculpture at about 60% completion! ⚔️

Still had so much to add to the high collar back then—including the peacock feathers that really made the final piece grand. Still lots more to come... I even crafted a full matching headpiece to go along with this next.

Part 3 of the vault archives! For this section of the chest piece, I incorporated a collection of miniature vintage Wade ceramic figures.

Ceramic pieces are fragile, so I engineered a custom brass and copper wire harness to cradle each figurine along the arc. No glue used—just precise wire tension and custom scaffolding to hold each miniature securely in place while keeping the full structural flow intact.

From the vault //037 - “The Memory Keeper” Part 2: Assembling the Chaos ⚔️🦚 The Memory Keeper” (Part 2) — Assembling the chaos. ⚔️🦚

Picking right back up with the uni vault archives! Once all the raw components were prepped for this Year 1 project, it was time to turn a mountain of loose clutter into a structured wearable piece.
Hand-wrapping peacock and pheasant feathers with wire caps
Drilling out vintage coins to build custom chain links
Weaving and locking the heavy brass and copper scaffolding together
Watching all these completely unrelated salvage pieces lock into place on the torso layout was the best part of the build. King Tut would definitely be jealous of this one.

Each family member got one of these for a Christmas gift… think I made nine of them!! all different styles, even had a little personalised bell with their initial ❤️

Fresh off the bench! Polished up that woven copper ring to a high shine to match yesterday’s piece. From raw copper sheet and wire to a finished, heavy statement ring.
