Orange blossom, neroli, petitgrain…
Every spring, the bitter orange trees begin to bloom under the Mediterranean sun, filling the air with a luminous floral scent that is both fresh and addictive. Delicate and radiant, orange blossom has long been one of perfumery’s most treasured ingredients.
At Mayme, we celebrate this harvest as a moment suspended in time, when nature, light, and fragrance come together. From the first hand-picked flowers to the final olfactive accords, orange blossom reveals its many facets: soft petals, honeyed nuances, green freshness, and sunlit elegance.
The harvest itself is a slow and demanding process that requires time, resources, and human labor, as every flower is picked by hand. In April, the Mayme team harvested orange blossoms and collected 20 kg of flowers. After distillation, this yielded only 20 grams of essential oil that we call neroli.
