The collars and leads are made of chocolate brown double backed leather, ensuring extra protection for the beadwork. The beads are stitched on with fishing line for added strength. They are hand stitched by local Kenyan craftsman and are ethically sourced products. Our collars are designed by Dog lovers so comfort and safety are of utmost importance to us.

These baskets are made from sustainable grasses (sisal) twisted together to form a string/thread and are then hand dyed and hand woven. Sometimes there is a variation in colour from one basket to the next, this is because of the fact that it is hand made and may well be from a different dye batch. That is what makes these bags special; no two bags are identical. The leather work and beading is then done by a different set of artisans. These Kiondos are ethically sourced and provide valuable work for many Kenyans. These bags can all be paired with other Kisiki products, the kiondos and kikapus look great with similar coloured beaded flip flops and the Kikoy bags are coupled with a matching kikoy or kikoy towel.
