starting the season with something playful, soulful, and full of imagination.

welcoming Isle of Moon to trobat.

created by ceramist Stefanie Ahlstrom, Isle of Moon is a small world of ceramic beings born between Mallorca and Stockholm. with a background in outdoor apparel design, Stefanie spent a decade creating garments for Scandinavian winters before finding a different path in clay, one that led her away from office politics and into a fantasy world of friendly, curious forms.

each piece is one of a kind, carefully patterned, crafted, and dressed in glazes Stefanie develops herself in her characteristically happy colours. made with precision, then released into the heat of the firing, her porcelain beings soften, shift, and find their own shape — moving from total control to none.

her work lives somewhere between design, craft, and magical realism. objects with spirit, colour, and character. a reminder that the things we live with can hold humour, wonder, and a little bit of soul.

For two days, trobat joins LA FÁBRICA, a special event presented by Roots Mallorca, bringing together a curated selection of Mediterranean brands, makers, and creatives under one roof.

Hosted in the unique Roots Mallorca showroom, set within a former chair factory, LA FÁBRICA invites visitors to discover a shared universe of craftsmanship, design, art, and authenticity.

Discover a selection of paintings, ceramics, textiles, sculptures, and collectible objects from trobat’s artists alongside brands that celebrate the Mediterranean way of life.

trobar, meaning “to find” in catalan is a conceptual space where gastronomy, art, music and culture meet. A three-level bar, restaurant, gallery and shop in Cala Ratjada, Mallorca.

Trobat’s ethos
’We Found Them’
is, at its core, a celebration of artisanship.

With the ubiquity of social media, a new generation of artisans spanning all art forms from ceramics to engraving, textiles to woodwork, are finding new ways to reach new audiences, but their work can still get lost in the noise.

Curator Dolli Taylor’s passion and obsession is unearthing these artists and their work, bringing it to the Trobat community.

Whether it’s a Uruguay-based oil painter, an abstract sculptor in Cape Town, or a wooden textile artist from Denmark, trobat brings together the work of an eclectic global community of artisans, and tells their stories.
