Grilled Chicken Dry Rub
Ingredients
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dry ground mustard
1 teaspoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 teaspoons dried Italian herb blend or Herbs de Provence
Instructions
Whisk together all the ingredients until well combined.
Store the dry rub in an airtight container at room temperature.
Before using, drizzle the chicken lightly with olive oil.
Rub the seasoning evenly over the entire chicken.
Grill the chicken until it is fully cooked (internal temperature: 75°C / 165°F).
Serve whole, or slice/dice the chicken for salads, sandwiches, wraps, or other recipes.
Store leftover cooked chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later use.
