A lot has happened since 1912, when the company was founded. Even the original shape of our chocolate has radically changed. The RITTER SPORT chocolate square changed the chocolate world. It became a huge chocolate brand and is, today, popular throughout the world. The original company, with a few employees, has become a medium-sized enterprise with approximately 800 employees. Much has changed. O

ne thing, however, has not. Our family tradition and the love of good chocolate. Alfred Theodor Ritter, grandchild of the company’s founder, now leads the family company in its third generation.
