🥰 WISDOM WEDNESDAY! 🥰
☀️ Are you caught up in the "I'll be happy/content/fulfilled when" loop?
✨ If only I had more money and didn't have to sacrifice one thing for another all the time.
✨ If only my children loved me and talked to me more often.
✨ If only I had a Jason Momoa lookalike boyfriend.
☀️ The list goes on. One thing, all of these have in common is the BELIEF that you can only be happy when you're attained some goal you're after.
☀️ BUT by constantly feeling the LACK of this elusive thing missing, you're never present in the moment, always worrying about the future. That can crack the hardest skull for sure!
☀️ Instead, make a point of being in the moment. Meditate, look around and acknowledge everything you DO have. Think of how fortunate you are to be able to wake up and breathe, to have food on your table - that you even have a table...
☀️ We take so much abundance for granted. Some people may not be as close to you as they used to be. But what about the people who are close and love you for who you are?
☀️ It doesn't mean you shouldn't have goals and dreams. But the first step always is to acknowledge and appreciate your present.
☀️ The ENERGY of appreciation will draw more of the same into your life.
☀️ The ENERGY of lack will always push the things you desire further out of reach.
☀️ Celebrate yourself, all you have, all you have achieved, all the blessings you have in your life and you'll see, you'll create more of the same: good things will come. But, please, notice them!
